lucid template

This is such a nice template, I wish mine worked nice like this one. Many functions on my Lucid template won't work. Oh well.

      Hey so what does it look like if it doesn't look like this? Did they ever create the fix they said they were going to do?

      • Sorry for late reply, no I believe a while back Andrew had told me that Online.me was a place for us to test and play around with this new template they were working, which I believe it's called Lucid template. If I'm not mistaking one of the UNA  or Online.me team members also told me that hopefully with Lucid template we can customize it to look like Online.me when they were ready to let us know. As for my Lucid template, no brother I wish it looked like Online.me. I'm anxious for it, trust me.

      • WillMonte Five For A Change this is a design configuration for Lucid - we are working on the tutorial to show you how you can set it up just like this - should have it ready very soon.

        • Would be good to hear what doesn't work specifically. We will publish the spec for this configuration ASAP - tomorrow or Monday, and hope it would help.

            • Well Antaratma i have been testing out notifications using my Lucid template and the following notifications did not work....

              Visited a users profile page, left a comment on their post to feed, left comment using their comments block, added a comment on their post, sent them a PM, clicked like on their post, started a conversation with them and on all actions, they did not receive not one notification.

              Yeah, not going to buy it if it doesn't look like this...
              You guys can't sell a product to someone and say it looks like this when it doesn't.

                I'm not wrong at all. This is a product that they sell which is promoted as this: Lucid template, a simple elegant theme, providing a Facebook-esque look and functionality to your UNA site. You can inspect a full demo site at ONLINE.me (see attachment)
                "Full Demo Site" - Doesn't mention anything about this being modified site. So when I see it, that's the product that I expect to be delivered since it doesn't say anything about it being modified.

                You make the assumption that I just want stuff for Free, which is a false assumption as I pay for all the modules I use. I have no issues with paying for a good product. I have issues with people advertising and charging money for something that isn't actually the product you're getting.

                So before you make assumptions, maybe you should get all the details of why someone would make their statement first.

                • Andrew has made mention of this plenty of times. Read up in the forum and updates. He has mentioned they will release the mix soon for those that wish to have the Lucid template look like the one on here. In case you didn't know...UNA is customizable and so are the templates. That's something that is also mentioned numerous times throughout the documentation. This is why often times posts are duplicated because many fail to search and read as to what's been discussed already.

                    Jeremy thanks for the reminder but I already knew that...but post move quickly and not everyone sees everything. So when people purchase a module they have to rely on what is in the description. I completely understand it's "customizable" but you completely glaze over my point that they advertise it as the "full demo site".
                    Not everyone here is on the newsletter or consistently visits the UNA site, so to toss everyone in the same basket (that they should know), isn't the correct response. The correct response is to correct the description as I pointed out above. That's just good business sense. Don't blame the customer for not knowing every detail about your product, when you advertise it one way and provide something else.

                  • Specs for the current configuration for ONline.me would be great and very helpful.   We are liking UNA a lot but also have had issues trying to get ours like Online.Me, which we mistakenly thought was a default theme set-up.   It's all good - as long as we can get it there.  Thank you.   

                    • It's also and hopefully not that difficult to customize templates, but I will wait cause this is one sweet look.

                      • Yes. Let's fix the advertising description so no one else gets confused. You're right..not all people think the same or read everything.
