This tends to be problematic for a configurable site... See, there may be some important block, or footer links you want users to be able to access and infinite scroll may interfere with that. As an option, we are working on a Single Page App module, which will present UI as a ReactJS layer, styled as a messenger. That's where infinite scroll would work just fine.
